I’m a Pinterest lurker, diving in to the clickable mood board, the Internet browsing experience of the Home Sweet Home Yankee Candle.

You know the one. It smells AMAZING.

Look at all these lives craftier and tidier than mine! Look at all these FONTS! The more I browse through DIY shower curtains, the more I forget that the most exciting thing going on in my apartment was the surprise rusty nail that poked through my slipper the other day. Fooled you again, Tetanus!

Anyway, I digress (which is sort of the point of Pinterest). The news: I was alerted to a hot new Pinterest trend the other day, just in time for Easter: Bunny butt cakes. Dyed hard-boiled eggs left to rot behind a framed family photo taken for the church directory waiting to be found in August? No more. Easter isn’t about great sources of protein, it’s about sugar.Cute, little decapitated bunny tushies diving torso-first into cake batter in the most adorable way. Beatrix Potter would be proud, or at least very confused and then ultimately amused.
